Leadership system

A Staff-level operating model for turning ambiguity into momentum.

My job is not to own every answer. It is to create the conditions for a complex organization to make better decisions, execute with clarity, and learn faster.

01

Frame

What decision are we actually making?

  • Separate the symptom from the system
  • Define the customer and business outcome
  • Name constraints, assumptions, and non-goals
Output
Product thesis
02

Align

What evidence can every function trust?

  • Bring behavior, operational, and system signals together
  • Make competing incentives visible
  • Set decision rights and ownership boundaries
Output
Decision brief
03

Commit

What will we fund, sequence, and stop?

  • Compare bets on impact, confidence, and leverage
  • Expose accepted costs and dependencies
  • Create a roadmap teams can execute against
Output
Outcome roadmap
04

Learn

What evidence changes the next decision?

  • Instrument outcomes and leading signals
  • Review misses without hiding variance
  • Update the strategy, not just the backlog
Output
Learning review
How I lead

Influence is a designed system.

I build alignment by making the problem, evidence, tradeoffs, and decision rights legible. That lets engineering, design, data, operations, and business leaders disagree productively.

The model applies across deterministic platforms and probabilistic AI products. The quality bar changes, but the leadership work does not.
